EB-5 Investments: Unique Opportunities and Challenges

During a one-day event which was held on the campus of Baruch College, professionals from across the industry came together to discuss the current state of the EB-5 program and opportunities it presents for developers and investors. Key issues facing the industry today and what it means for the future were the topics for the panel, “The Future of EB-5 and What We Can Expect”.

IIUSA Executive Director, Peter D. Joseph focused on the imperative of finding industry consensus, constructively engaging with policyholders to address the major issues facing the industry today and self-regulation as a means of enhancing integrity and effectiveness.

Hosted at Baruch College the event drew quite an international crowd. Included were EB-5 regional centers, real estate developers overseas real estate companies, migration agencies, educational organizations, law firms, wealth managers, students, and brokers.
